The Flame Con Adventures of Flixist Chris

Throughout my weekend at Flame Con, everybody round me was inventive and clever—to not point out, queer. Organized by Geeks OUT, the “largest queer comedian con” gathered artists, writers, creatives, followers, and players to community, share their artwork, and focus on queer-related points within the media that we love to observe and browse.

I am considerably of a conference novice—my expertise consists of going to TooManyGames in highschool, and a few kind of Strolling Useless conference two years in the past, the place I could not even muster up the moxie to speak to Grand Theft Auto’s Steven Ogg at his desk. Flame Con 2018 was by far the most important conference I’ve been to but, my first as a member of the press, and my first with a brand new sense of self-confidence.

And boy, was it exhausting and overwhelming.
